Milestone sessions are quick and easy (typically 15–20 minutes), making them perfect for busy families and little attention spans.

Session Timing + Age Ranges

Milestones move fast — so this collection is planned to capture your baby’s growth at the most meaningful stages:

Maternity: typically scheduled between 28–34 weeks

Fresh 48: within the first 48 hours after birth

Newborn: ideally photographed 5–21 days old

3 Months: sweet eye contact, tiny smiles, early personality

6 Months: sitting milestone (one of the cutest stages!)

9 Months: crawling, standing support, big expressions

12 Months: birthday portraits with optional cake smash

If your baby arrives early or has a NICU stay, milestone timing can be adjusted — I’ll help you plan the best schedule for your family.

The Grow With Me Collection is best booked during pregnancy to reserve availability for maternity, your due date window, and the full year of milestones. I accept a limited number of Grow With Me families each year to ensure a relaxed experience.

02. HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION LAST?

Session time varies based on milestone:

Milestone sessions are typically 15-20 minutes

Maternity sessions are typically 45–60 minutes

Newborn sessions are typically 1.5–3 hours

Fresh 48 sessions are typically 30–45 minutes

03. DO YOU PROVIDE OUTFITS OR STYLING HELP?

Yes. You’ll receive styling guidance and wardrobe recommendations for each session, and you’re welcome to use pieces from my client closet when available.

04. IS A CAKE SMASH REQUIRED FOR THE 12-MONTH SESSION?

No — cake smashes are optional. You can choose:

traditional birthday portraits

a simple cake smash setup

an optional splash bath at the end

Parents provide the cake for allergy and safety reasons.

05. CAN FAMILY MEMBERS BE INCLUDED IN MILESTONE SESSIONS?

Absolutely! Parents and siblings are always welcome. You can choose baby-only portraits or include family images throughout the year.

06. DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Yes — payment plans are available, and a non-refundable retainer is required to secure the full collection.
